Queen Bee Vineyard

Queen Bee Vineyard was founded in 2020 by two former Diveshop employees who had just witnessed the closure of their workplace due to worldwide border closures in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Queen Bee Vineyard currently offers 3 main products, including a traditional, a cacao infused, and a dry mead. Mead is a fermented honey beverage made from fermenting and aging honey and water and other ingredients. 

 Mead is one of the oldest beverages, yet society has almost forgotten about it as grape wine and beer had taken over the world shortly after. The term honeymoon, actually derives from a tradition of giving couples plenty of mead to take with them on their alone time after their wedding. Additionally, evidence for mead consumption goes as far back as Egypt or older and was most likely consumed by the ancient ancestors of African and Indigenous peoples all over the world.
